| Date: 08/12/2008 15:16:41 - ‘Secret' lights have 5* appeal |
‘Secret' lights from Lumenata have provided a dramatic finishing touch to the bar of the recently refurbished Hoole Hall Hotel in Chester.
The spotlights are made from a specially formulated plaster material that is heat and impact resistant and blend seamlessly into the surroundings.
The lights literally seem to disappear into the ceiling - which is why we call them ‘secret' - creating the ultimate minimal look.
The introduction of modern lighting scheme for the bar area is all part of the hotel's efforts to create a stylish new look and upgrade from a three to a five star hotel.
Low voltage halogen lamps were used for the main ambient lighting, with QR-111 versions used to produce dramatic wall wash effects. However, the versatility of this very stylish range is not limited to halogen light sources as many different types of lamp can be used with these products, including compact fluorescent, linear fluorescent and metal halide.
